Foot & Ankle Care for Idaho Patients

Southeastern Idaho residents — from Preston, Malad City, Franklin, and Soda Springs — often find that the closest fellowship-trained podiatry care is a short drive south on US-91 or I-15 into Utah. Wasatch Foot & Ankle Institute's Farmington and South Ogden clinics welcome Idaho patients with board-certified care and same-day emergency appointments.

Why Idaho patients choose Wasatch Foot & Ankle Institute

Communities along the southeastern Idaho border — Preston, Franklin, Malad City, Soda Springs, and Montpelier — are often closer to the Wasatch Front's specialty medical centers than to a fellowship-trained podiatrist within Idaho itself. We're proud to be the practice many of these patients choose, offering the same board-certified physicians and conservative-first treatment philosophy at both our Farmington and South Ogden clinics.

From a first consultation for a nagging foot problem to advanced surgical procedures with coordinated follow-up, our team works to make the trip from Idaho as efficient as possible, including scheduling to reduce the number of visits required whenever it's medically appropriate.

Getting here from Idaho

From Preston and the Franklin County area, US-91 connects directly south into Cache Valley and on to I-15, reaching our Farmington clinic in about 60-75 minutes. From Malad City, I-15 south is a direct shot to either Farmington or South Ogden, typically 45-70 minutes depending on the clinic. Patients from Soda Springs and Montpelier generally travel via US-30 to I-15, arriving in roughly two hours. Both clinics have free parking directly outside the building with ground-level entrances.
